The Oklahoma State Board of Regents of Higher Education has established guidelines for the admission of international students whose native language is not English. International students may prove English language proficiency by one of the following:

Attend a United States high school and successfully completed the core curriculum in English; or

Achieve a score of 500 or better (paper-based) or 173 or better (computer-based) or 61 (IBT) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or
-
Score 460 (paper) or 140 (computer) or 48 (IBT) on the TOEFL test administered at a State Regents’ approved English language center or program and successfully completed a 12-week course of study, also at an approved center or program; or
-
Achieve a score of 6.0 or better on the IELTS.
All international students, with the exception of those from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Canada, will have to submit proof of fulfillment of the language requirements outlined above.
